Art by Morgan Keith

In “Through the Labyrinth,” investigative reporter Morgan Keith speaks to Los Angeles residents navigating the Trump administration’s ruthless deportation system in the hopes of reuniting with their loved ones. This podcast miniseries explores how federal policy choices trickle down to everyday people, as well as the gravity of the situation on the ground.

Keith conceptualized this project while pursuing her master's degree in mass communications and journalism at California State University, Northridge (CSUN). From initial arrest to the processing phase and movement between facilities, all episodes of "Through the Labyrinth" highlight the harsh realities of the immigration detention in Southern California and the ripple effects within our communities.
